Hi everyone! I’ve been trying to stay organized with my creative projects and site updates.
March was quite a busy month for Dragonsinn.net in terms of new posts and updates to older posts (along with a blog design theme refresh).
Website Updates
Here are some updates made in the past month—
- Posted “German Dragons” (research notes contributed by Zar Antonov)
- QnA with Zar Antonov (Head of the Society of Dracology; a fun and informative QnA on travel, flag design, and more)
- Posted “Recommended Dragon Books” (this was possibly the last page to transfer over from the old HTML website)
- Updated Vietnamese Dragons
- Updated Lunar New Year and Singapore Dragons (very pretty pictures!)
- Added help page for areas site needs some help with
- Updated shop page and added a lightweight contact form

Do you geek out about your blog or website’s PageSpeed Insights score? 🙋
I was fiddling around with the settings to try and improve how quickly Dragonsinn.net loads. I had a plugin incompatibility (which I’ve deactivated) which caused the dropdown menu at the top to disappear on mobile view.
I think it’s almost settled. . .but I’ve a quick question while we’re talking about websites.
Does anyone have a good web host to recommend?
I’ve been looking at Green Geeks and A2 Hosting.
I’ve been with my current host for over 15 years. I’m seeking one that’s a bit more stable or supportive to the WordPress platform.

I’m waiting for some sticker proofs to arrive at my home.
I’m thinking of doing a monthly giveaway. It’s a way to say thank you to loyal subscribers and being part of the Dragonsinn.net club / journey.
There are some other ideas I have that could be done throughout the rest of the year to celebrate the site’s 25th anniversary in June.
I’ll be traveling in April (visiting Toronto) and will be thinking of these ideas! ✈️
